The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) and the host LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA), observed Dade County's softball team get by LaFayette by a tally of 4-3.

The Wolverines (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Chattooga (Summerville, GA). The Indians enter the 1A D-I Region 7 game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Chattooga was edged by Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA), 13-3, in a league game.

The Ramblers now hold a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a 3A Region 7 match on Monday, August 25. LaFayette will battle a Generals team coming off a 10-2 league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA). The Generals record now stands at 6-2.
