The Kiowa Cowboys softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Hartshorne Miners to 5 in the Cowboys non-league win on Saturday.

The Cowboys now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haileyville for a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. Kiowa will confront a Warriors team coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Cameron (Cameron, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Hartshorne moves to 7-2 on the season. The Miners host Vian (Vian, OK) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. The Wolverines come into the battle with a record of 6-6. Vian lost 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK)
