In Saturday's non-league test, the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lincoln North Star Navigators (Lincoln, NE), by a tally of 15-1.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE) in a A District outing, on Tuesday, August 26. Lincoln East will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Knights come into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 20-6 league win over Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE).
With the loss, Lincoln North Star drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Navigators host Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE) to clash with the Links in a A District bout on Tuesday, August 26. The Links go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Lincoln High lost 10-2 in their recent non-league bout against Omaha Central (Omaha, NE)
