The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Okemah Panthers (Okemah, OK) and the visiting Morris Eagles (Morris, OK), observed Okemah's softball team get by Morris by a tally of 4-3.

The Panthers (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Stroud (Stroud, OK). The Tigers go into the 2A bout with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Stroud nudged Oilton (Oilton, OK), 7-1, in a non-league contest.

The Eagles now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel for a 3A contest on Monday, August 25. Morris will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Hominy (Hominy, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-3.
