The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), observed Omaha South's softball team get by Omaha Central by a tally of 5-4.

The Packers (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE). The Wolves go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Elkhorn North tipped Omaha North (Omaha, NE), 15-0, in a non-league contest.

The Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan for a A District contest on Monday, August 25. Omaha Central will face a Bears squad coming off a 20-0 non-league loss to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE). The Bears record now stands at 0-2.
