The Shattuck Indians triumphed over the visiting Turpin Cardinals softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Indians now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Beaver for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. Shattuck will meet a Dusters squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Hooker (Hooker, OK). The Dusters record now stands at 4-3.
The Cardinals (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mooreland (Mooreland, OK). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Mooreland ran past Vici (Vici, OK), 15-0, in a non-league battle.
