Battle Mountain Longhorns (Battle Mountain, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Round Mountain Knights (Round Mountain, NV), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Battle Mountain upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to White Pine (Ely, NV) to meet the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 23. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-1. White Pine won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wendover (Wendover, UT)

Next, the Knights face the Eureka Vandals (Eureka, NV) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Round Mountain will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Vandals go into the test with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
