The Bay City Western Warriors volleyball squad (Auburn, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI)

With the win, Birch Run improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Panthers host Freeland (Freeland, MI) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 27. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Freeland lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against South Lyon (South Lyon, MI)

Next, the Warriors battle the Garber Dukes (Essexville, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 26. Bay City Western will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Dukes enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 1-1 non-league Dow (Midland, MI).
