The Piedmont Wildcats volleyball squad (Piedmont, OK), was defeated 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish (Oklahoma City, OK)

The Fighting Irish (13-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Casady (Oklahoma City, OK). The Cyclones enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Casady was beaten by Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Westmoore Jaguars (Oklahoma City, OK) in a Central Oklahoma test, on Tuesday, August 26. Piedmont will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the test with a 10-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Casady (Oklahoma City, OK).
