Tennessee High School Volleyball - Oakland over Blackman

The Oakland Patriots volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Blackman Blaze to 0 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Patriots now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Green Hill for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Oakland will play a Hawks team coming off a 3-1 league win over Mount Juliet (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Blackman moves to 4-3 on the season. The Blaze host Oakland (Murfreesboro, TN) to confront the Patriots in a AAA District 8 game on Tuesday, August 26. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 2-2. Oakland lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Green Hill (Mt. Juliet, TN)
