The Blanchard Lions topped the visiting Newcastle Racers volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Lions now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league game on Saturday, August 23. Blanchard will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southwest Covenant (Yukon, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Newcastle drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Racers travel to Amber-Pocasset (Amber, OK) to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Amber-Pocasset lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Tuttle (Tuttle, OK)
