In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Bourbon County Colonels volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Pendleton County Wildcats.
The Colonels (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Patrick (Maysville, KY). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, St. Patrick was beaten by Mason County (Maysville, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Pendleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Harrison County (Cynthiana, KY).
