In Saturday's league challenge, the host Cheboygan Chiefs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Boyne City Ramblers.
The Chiefs (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Lake (Central Lake, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
Next, the Ramblers play the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen (Harbor Springs, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Boyne City will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
