Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Colonels (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Braves enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Union County was beaten by Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lakers meet the Kirkwood Cobras (Clarksville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 23. Calloway County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cobras come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sycamore (Pleasant View, TN).
