The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Walton-Verona notched a victory over Owen County (Owenton, KY), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Greendevils battle the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) in a District 36 contest, on Monday, August 25. Dayton will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Bluebirds enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY).
