The Calvary Christian Cougars edged the visiting Grant County Braves volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Cougars face the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league game, on Monday, August 25. Calvary Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Polar Bears go into the game with a 3-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY).
The Braves (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Calvary Christian edged Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
