Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Crockett Cougars (Austin, TX), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cedar Creek advances its record to 2-7 on the season. The Eagles host Elgin (Elgin, TX) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-13. Elgin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Alvin (Alvin, TX)
The Cougars now sport a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastside Early College for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Crockett will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Giddings (Giddings, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 2-9.
