The Morton Ranch Mavericks edged the host Cypress Springs Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Mavericks confront the Katy Taylor Mustangs (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region III District 19 game, on Tuesday, August 26. Morton Ranch will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the game with a 8-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
The Panthers (5-12) will now prepare for their game against Eisenhower (Houston, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Eisenhower nudged Benjamin Davis (Houston, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
