The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Bay City (Bay City, TX). The Blackcats go into the non-league battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Bay City dropped by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Elkins for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Hitchcock will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Clear Falls (League City, TX). The Knights record now stands at 8-8.
