Texas High School Volleyball - Del Valle over Parkland

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Del Valle Conquistadores (El Paso, TX) and the host Parkland Matadors (El Paso, TX), observed Del Valle's volleyball team top Parkland by a count of 2-0.

The Conquistadores (11-2) will now prepare for their battle against Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Montwood achieved victory over Chapin (El Paso, TX), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Matadors now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irvin for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Parkland will meet a Rockets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Austin (El Paso, TX). The Rockets record now stands at 1-6.
