In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Robertson Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Portland Panthers.
The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jo Byrns (Cedar Hill, TN). The Red Devils come into the A District 8 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Jo Byrns lost by White House (White House, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westmoreland for a non-league test on Monday, August 25. Portland will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-2.
