Fleming County Panthers (Flemingsburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball team hold off the host Mason County Royals (Maysville, KY), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Clinton County got by Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Royals face the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, August 26. Mason County will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Powell County (Stanton, KY).
