In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Pikeville Panthers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Floyd Central Jaguars.
The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Belfry (Belfry, KY). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Belfry beat Jenkins (Jenkins, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Jaguars meet the Phelps Hornets (Phelps, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 23. Floyd Central will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Shelby Valley (Pikeville, KY).
