The Kilgore Bulldogs edged the host Grace Community Cougars volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Bulldogs now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jacksonville for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 23. Kilgore will play a Fightin' Indians team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX). The Fightin' Indians record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Grace Community drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Gilmer (Gilmer, TX) to play the Buckeyes in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 26. The Buckeyes come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Gilmer won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hooks (Hooks, TX)
