Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY) and the visiting Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY), observed Greenup County's volleyball team top Lawrence County by a count of 3-0.
The Musketeers (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Blazer notched a victory over Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fairview for a non-league battle on Monday, August 25. Lawrence County will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
