In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Rowan County Vikings volleyball squad scored a tight 3-2 win over the Greenup County Musketeers.

With the win, Rowan County improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Vikings host Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-1. Lawrence County won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Tolsia (Fort Gay, WV)

The Musketeers now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Carter for a non-league test on Saturday, August 23. Greenup County will meet a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Carter (Grayson, KY). The Comets record now stands at 2-0.
