Mississippi High School Volleyball - Our Lady Academy over Gulfport

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS) and the visiting Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS), observed Our Lady Academy's volleyball team top Gulfport by a count of 2-0.

The Crescents (16-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Patrick (Biloxi, MS). The Fighting Irish enter the Class 3A Region 8 contest with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, St. Patrick dropped by George County (Lucedale, MS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Admirals now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Harrison for a Class 7A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, August 26. Gulfport will encounter a Hurricanes squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-10.
