Texas High School Volleyball - Itasca can't hold off Hillsboro

In Saturday's non-league battle, the Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX) volleyball squad got by the host Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Hillsboro improves its record to 12-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Abbott (Abbott, TX) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 23. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 5-2. Abbott lost 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX)

Next, the Wampus Cats battle the Milford Bulldogs (Milford, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 26. Itasca will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Rice (Rice, TX).
