Texas High School Volleyball - Johnson tips Lake Ridge

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Johnson Jaguars volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Lake Ridge Eagles.
The Jaguars (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Bowie was edged by Stony Point (Round Rock, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 26. Lake Ridge will face a Colts squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). The Colts record now stands at 5-15.
