In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Kaiser Cats volleyball team scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Palm Desert Aztecs.

The Cats (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Adelanto (Adelanto, CA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Adelanto was nudged by Serrano (Phelan, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Aztecs play the Twentynine Palms Wildcats (Twentynine Palms, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. Palm Desert will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Rancho Mirage (Rancho Mirage, CA).
