Texas High School Volleyball - Sweeny over La Marque

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Sweeny Bulldogs (Sweeny, TX) and the host La Marque Cougars (La Marque, TX), observed Sweeny's volleyball team top La Marque by a count of 2-0.

The Bulldogs (13-4) will now prepare for their contest against Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Stingarees enter the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Texas City was knocked off by MacArthur (Houston, TX), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
