California High School Volleyball - La Quinta can't hold off Valley View

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Valley View Eagles (Moreno Valley, CA) volleyball team held off the visiting La Quinta Blackhawks (La Quinta, CA), by a margin of 1-0.
The Eagles now possess a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillcrest for a Ivy bout on Monday, August 25. Valley View will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, La Quinta drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Indio (Indio, CA) to clash with the Rajahs in a non-league bout on Monday, August 25. The Rajahs come into the bout with a record of 4-1. Indio won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA)
