Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Morley Stanwood Mohawks (Morley, MI) and the visiting Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI), observed Morley Stanwood's volleyball team hold off Marshall by a tally of 2-1.
The Mohawks (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI). The Hornets enter the Central State contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Central Montcalm was tipped by Bath (Bath, MI), 2-1, in a non-league test.
The Redhawks now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe for a non-league test on Friday, August 29.
