Texas High School Volleyball - Marshall over New Diana

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Marshall Mavericks (Marshall, TX) and the visiting New Diana Eagles (Diana, TX), saw Marshall's volleyball squad notch a victory over New Diana by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Marshall improves its record to 14-3 on the season. The Mavericks host Tyler (Tyler, TX) to encounter the Lions in a 5A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, August 26. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 6-7. Tyler lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Henderson (Henderson, TX)

The Eagles now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host Queen City for a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 26. New Diana will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to CHAAMP HomeSchool (Mt. Pleasant, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-4.
