Texas High School Volleyball - Nixon can't get by McAllen

The McAllen Bulldogs edged the host Nixon Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Anderson Trojans (Austin, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 23. McAllen will attempt to advance on its 14-2 season record. The Trojans come into the outing with a 3-6 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Westlake (Austin, TX).

With the loss, Nixon moves to 6-10 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Sharyland (Mission, TX) to confront the Rattlers in a non-league game on Saturday, August 23. The Rattlers go into the game with a record of 11-4. Sharyland won 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Cigarroa (Laredo, TX)
