The Sipsey Valley Bears volleyball team (Buhl, AL), was knocked off 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Northside Rams (Northport, AL)

The Rams (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Mortimer Jordan was defeated by Cherokee County (Centre, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Bears now own a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wenonah for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 26. Sipsey Valley will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Tarrant (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 0-1.
