Mississippi High School Volleyball - Purvis tips Our Lady Academy

August 23, 2025: Bay St. Louis, MS 39520

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) and the host Our Lady Academy Crescents (Bay St. Louis, MS), saw Purvis's volleyball squad nudge Our Lady Academy by a score of 2-1.

With the win, Purvis improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Oak Grove (Hattiesburg, MS) to meet the Warriors in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 23. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 8-4. Oak Grove lost 3-2 in their recent league contest against Petal (Petal, MS)

Next, the Crescents meet the Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 23. Our Lady Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Admirals go into the test with a 6-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Harrison Central (Gulfport, MS).
