Mississippi High School Volleyball - Pearl Warren Central

Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team run past the host Pearl Pirates (Pearl, MS), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now have a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Canton for a Class 6A Region 2 outing on Tuesday, August 26. Warren Central will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.

The Pirates (1-15) will now prepare for their game against Meridian (Meridian, MS). The Wildcats go into the Class 7A Region 3 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Meridian went down by Brandon (Brandon, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
