The Sequoyah Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Wagoner Bulldogs to 1 in the Eagles league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they host Inola for a Green Country outing on Tuesday, August 26. Sequoyah will play a Longhorns team coming off a 3-2 league win over Oologah (Oologah, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-2.

The Bulldogs (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Pirates enter the Green Country game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, Locust Grove held off Westville (Westville, OK), 3-0, in a non-league game.
