In Wednesday's non-league match, the host South Anchorage Wolverines football squad scored a good 36-20 victory over the West Anchorage Eagles.
In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 3. South Anchorage will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record.
The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their match against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
