The Commerce Tigers softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Lake Oconee Academy Titans to 9 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Commerce improves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Vidalia (Vidalia, GA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, August 26. The Indians come into the game with a record of 6-4. Vidalia won 7-1 in their recent league game against Toombs County (Lyons, GA)

In their next game, the Titans clash with the Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 8 game, on Monday, August 29. Lake Oconee Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 0-6 record after their 9-0 non-league loss to Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA).
