The Woodward Academy War Eagles (College Park, GA) softball routed the visiting Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA), 7-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The War Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers go into the 6A Region 3 bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Alcovy held off Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA), 19-1, in a league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Forest Park for a 6A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, August 30.
