The Howard Tech Hustlin' Tigers volleyball team (Chattanooga, TN), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Chattanooga Central Pounders (Harrison, TN)

The Pounders (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record.

Next, the Hustlin' Tigers meet the Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) in a AAA District 5 challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Howard Tech will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN).
