North Carolina High School Volleyball - Hoke County over Purnell Swett

August 24, 2022: Pembroke, NC 28372

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC) and the host Purnell Swett Rams (Pembroke, NC), saw Hoke County's volleyball squad beat Purnell Swett by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Hoke County upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Bucks host Lumberton (Lumberton, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, August 29. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Lumberton won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC)

The Rams now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 25. Purnell Swett will play a Golden Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Golden Tornadoes record now stands at 0-4.
