Kentucky High School Volleyball - Magoffin County routed by Prestonsburg

The Magoffin County Hornets volleyball team (Salyersville, KY), was dropped 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Prestonsburg Black Cats (Prestonsburg, KY)

The Black Cats (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Bobcats enter the District 58 challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Betsy Layne defeated Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets encounter the Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) in a District 57 challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Magoffin County will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY).
