The Cardinals come into the match with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Carteret (Morehead City, NC).

With the loss, Southwest Onslow drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 30. The Pirates come into the match with a record of 2-3. Swansboro won 3-0 in their recent non-league match against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC)
