The Colonial Beach Drifters volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting King & Queen Central Royal Tigers to 0 in the Drifters non-league victory on Thursday.
The Drifters now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverbend for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Colonial Beach will meet a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Bears record now stands at 1-0.
The Royal Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Westmoreland gained a win over Surry County (Dendron, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
