The Triton Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host E.E. Smith for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Triton will confront a Golden Bulls team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Golden Bulls record now stands at 2-1.
The Yellow Jackets (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Union Pines (Cameron, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Union Pines dropped by Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
