The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) and the host Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), saw Porter Ridge's volleyball squad beat Parkwood by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the year. The Pirates travel to Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, August 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-1. Lake Norman won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC)

The Wolf Pack now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Hills for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29.
