West Virginia High School Soccer - Webster County knocks off Braxton County

Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders confront the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers (Buckhannon, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 26. Webster County will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV).

The Eagles now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roane County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 31.
